Well Sam Jr, our event photographer, injured his camera/trigger finger at the practice session shooting turkey loads in a youth gun so we did not get many good photos of the actual dove shoot. Take care of that finger Sam!!!!!!!

Here is a vintage shot of a rock crawling competition in Jellico, TN back in June ... nothin' to do w/the hunt ... I just thought it was neat. WEROC competitions are CRAZY!!! You want me to climb WHAT?????!!!!!!

We had the largest turn out yet for the world famous Fannie's Farm Dove Shoot this past weekend thanks to Phillip & his 'gang'. Also thanks to Greg for bringing his son Hunter 'Bird Dog' Childs along too ... Trooper needed the help with this gang!

Practice, practice, practice makes perfect ... right? Wrong when it comes to Dove Hunting! We had 23 shooters who took 67 birds. They all shot more than 2 boxes of shells. That 1150 shots! Maybe more practice?????!!!!!

The crowd gathers in anticipation of the world famous 'Fannie's Farm Dove Shoot'. Load 'em up & let's practice!

Well, a large weekend again. I think I got my fill for a few days. Rode Tellico Saturday w/the TNTTORA guys & crunched a fender flair on trail 9. Rode Beasley Sunday w/a GATTORA guy & bent a rear axle. Check out the crowd at the base of 'Slick Rock'!!!!! They were climbing into the night!!!!!!!!

Yep it's time for our Fall Party on the river. Me & the guys are just out gathering our thoughts & avoiding 'honey dos' while I can. We switched from Gumbo to Chili this year on the fire. And then there was everything else!!!!!!! All kinds of food & entertainment ... you know who you are ... you crazy people!

Ofcourse whenever you have a party there is always a trouble maker or two. This one cooked some awsome food so I stayed out of his way. Thanks Hunter. Luckily his camera kept the other one busy MOST of the time. Thanks for the great photos & 'night show' Sam.

We had a great time Saturday. Thanks to everybody for coming & bringing all the GREAT food!

They seemed sooo in control ... see the beautiful scenery? See the sweat on my brow?

Yep you do take a risk when you drink and paddle too! Hey what about my canoe!!! I think you'll fit in some of Lynne's clothes.

I know this shot looks peaceful ... and it is ... but Sam was in prime form with camera in one hand & paddle in the other and many beers in his belly! I was worried ...

We are really rollin' now ... lots of Pontificatin' going on around here ... watch out for that fire.

Yep it's getting late. Note the tilted heads & stareing at the fire. We gotta get up in a few hours & ride Beasley! Nighty night time.

THE END

Even though Marshall tends to mash his motor a bunch, his truck suffered no breakage once again. Makes me want to mess w/my Taco more!

Jack's 'Jafrican Taco' made easy work of everything even w/a broken front CV & California sand tires ... wet Georgia red clay managed to slow him a bit though.

It really is a beautiful '85 4Runner isn't it? And damn it will climb more than I really care to. It's the slowest baddest truck I've ever owned!

Conditions at Beasley Knob ORV were just great in every way this weekend.

Here is more of that beauty we were surrounded by this weekend. Kammy thanks for being brave enough to wheel with us ugly guys. Marshall you are a lucky guy ... Lynne was asleep on the sofa with NASCAR on TV when I got home ...

Alan, Alan, Alan, you must stay to the right at Beasley Knob's 'Mini Rock Garden' ... aim for the tree! I'm such a 'know-it-all'!

Gettin' ready to slide down one of the many 'bob sled' runs at Beasley Knob ORV. Do not get caught in this place during a rain storm!

Beasley Knob ... Tellico ... It doesn't matter ... Marshall is off like a 'Desert Prerunner'. Ha! No dust here though!

I'm talkin LEAVES MAN ... BEAUTIFUL!

These photos don't show all the fun we had but they show the beauty we were surrounded by ... and I'm not talkin' about my 4Runner ... leaves man, leaves!

Well it seems I'm pullin' Marshall again ... this time at Beasley Knob ORV. We fondly refer to this innocent looking obstacle as the Ledge. Yeah ... I had to winch ... just because of all those slippery leaves ...
